Charity is the cement which binds Communities to God and persons to one another.
St Vincent de Paul
Across the country the Society is growing steadily, however we are always on the lookout for new members. Increasing our membership will enable us to achieve our goal of helping and supporting people facing a daily struggle with isolation and poverty. Whilst volunteering can be a challenge, it is equally rewarding. As a Member you will always have the support of your Conference, as well as that of the National Society to assist you in your charitable works.
If you do not have the time to commit to the Society you are welcome to support us in any other way. Perhaps you would like to become a Friend of the SVP?
This weekend there is an appeal and second collection at all Masses. If you are a taxpayer, please use one of the Gift Aid envelopes provided.
Thank you for your time and attention during Awareness Month. We hope this has helped you to get to know the Society better and perhaps motivate you to turn your concern into action. If you would like to know more about the SVP or if you are interested in joining our local group, please get in touch with Kasia or Stuart via the Parish Office.
