24 Hours for the Lord

From 5:30pm on Friday, 29 March until 5:30pm on Saturday, 30 March, there will be an opportunity to spend time in Eucharistic Adoration and receive the Sacrament of Penance in St Joseph’s Church.

As a father has compassion for his children, so the LORD has compassion for those who fear him.

Psalm 103:13

Pope Francis calls us to link our Lenten reconciliation each year with time spent in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

You are invited to come and encounter Jesus through prayer, reflection, silence and the sacrament of reconciliation.

Times of individual confessions will be:
     Friday evening 7-9pm
     Saturday morning 10.30-11.30am
     Saturday afternoon 4.15-5.15pm.

Please sign up to cover an hour on the rota which can be found at the back of the church.

Everyone is welcome to visit the Blessed Sacrament at any time during the 24 hours, even if you are unable to commit to an hour on the rota.

Do not be afraid of Confession.

Pope Francis
