HOLY DAYS OF OBLIGATION
St Joseph’s: 7am (Oratory), 9am and 7.30pm
Eucharistic Adoration is held in the Oratory at St Joseph’s on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 9pm. Booklets are available to encourage and inspire your worship. A box is available before the altar for your private petitions. Once the box is full petitions are burnt unopened.
Parishioners pledge themselves to watch for one hour each week before the Blessed Sacrament. There is a great need for more volunteers, as it is good to have more than one person per hour committed to allow leeway for holidays, sickness, etc.
Times of Adoration change over the holiday periods; see the newsletter for details.
Adoration is also held at the Bridgettine Convent after the Rosary on Sunday afternoons, please see below.
The Rosary is prayed in the Oratory at St Joseph’s on Tuesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm. We invite more parishioners to join us, in prayer, for the peace of the world and the needs of our parish.
Times for the Rosary change over the holiday periods; see the newsletter for details.
The Rosary is also prayed at the Bridgettine Convent on Sundays at 4.15pm followed by Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Evening Prayer.
Families should contact the Parish Office to make initial funeral arrangements.
